Troil Marin goes into publishing
Troil Marin Ltd has won a contract with the Finnish Maritime Administration concerning the publishing rights of Finnish nautical charts for the period 2009 - 2011/2012. Bids were obtained from four Finnish companies with activities in the field of charts. WSOY, the current holder of the publishing rights, did not put a bid.

Natalia Rantala (born 1967) started working July 2nd, 2008 as part time chart corrector. Her responsibilities include correcting stocked Admiralty charts and the order administration for our joint venture GT Baltic Charts Ou in Tallinn, Estonia. Natalia also takes care of our customer service and communication in Russian language. Since August 12th, 2008, Carl Magnus "Jocke" Björkenheim (born 1966) adds to Troil Marin's sales team strength, especially in the product groups of marine electronics and electronic charts. Jocke's previous job was with Maersk Finland Ltd, where he worked with marketing and customer support för e-commerce solutions.
